Amy and Tim Dauphinee Scholarship
Description of the organization
The Ontario Credit Union Foundation established the Amy and Tim Dauphinee Scholarship in recognition of the outstanding contribution these two leaders made to the development of the credit union movement in Ontario and to the Ontario Credit Union Foundation. Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada (CMC) administers this CASC scholarships, but it is jointly adjudicated.

Students presenting in any of the research streams at this conference can apply.
Eligibility
Only graduate students can apply. Applicants must either undertake studies at Canadian universities or university-equivalent colleges (regardless of citizenship) or are Canadian citizens or landed immigrants studying at such institutions outside Canada. To be eligible, you must currently be pursuing your research or undertaking it within one calendar year.
Amount
The award is currently valued at 3,000 CAD. The awardee receives a one-year membership in CASC as well as a free registration at the CASC conference (including CFHSS Congress fees) in the year following their award (2026).
Selection criteria
The award will be based on the applicant’s academic record and on the importance of the proposed research activities to the development of the co-op movement in Canada or abroad. Please note that applicants must be willing to be featured as recipients and will likely be invited to present their research at an eventual CASC conference.
How to submit a request
Students need to fill out this online form and include:
A copy of any previous degree(s) and transcript(s);
A list of academic awards, distinctions and scholarships (if any);
Two letters of reference— one must be an academic reference; and
An outline of your research project.
