Researchers who have never published or who do not have all their publications on cooperatives on PortailCoop, the world’s largest e-library on cooperative research, are eligible to receive a 20% discount on either the early bird or the regular registration fee, if they publish their work on PortailCoop.

Least Developed Countries (LDC) discount
If you live and work in one of the countries identified by the United Nation's Office of the High Representative as being one of the Least Developed Countries, you are eligible for a reduced conference fee (equivalent to the Student fee).
Countries eligible for a discount are : Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Rep. of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Kiribati, Lao People’s Dem. Catering
During the conference, we are pleased to offer you a variety of vegetarian dishes carefully prepared by the university’s cooperative caterer, Coop HEC. In line with our eco-friendly approach, some ingredients are sourced from Fairtrade suppliers, which has helped us achieve the "Fairtrade Event" certification. A small step for the planet and a fairer future!


Conference Banquet
We are delighted to host a three-course Banquet at the Hélène-Desmarais Building on Thursday, July 10, 2025. This event promises to be a vibrant celebration, where we will come together to honour outstanding contributions, foster meaningful connections, and celebrate excellence.
Price: 150 CAD per person, including taxes and service.
Please note that attendance at the Conference Banquet is not included in the standard delegate registration fee. As seats are limited, please select the “Conference + Banquet” option in the registration form to reserve your place.

The summer period is extremely busy in Montréal, so we recommend you book your accommodation well ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Invitation letter for visa requests
To ensure a smooth entry into Canada, you will need to submit a request for a conference visa well ahead of time. To facilitate your visa procedure, the IICADD can provide, upon request, a formal letter of invitation. This letter, approved by Immigration Canada, identifies you as a registered participant to the conference.
You must first register on the conference website and pay your registration fees before submitting a request for an invitation letter. All requests submitted without completing the registration process will not be considered.
